LIBBY

Libby Filiatreau is a poet and artist who lives in Louisville, Kentucky. She practices Reiki and loves all the animals except chickens. (Don’t ask.) Libby received a grant from the James Graham Brown Foundation for the publication of a photojournalism project. She has appeared in the Louisville Courier-Journal as a guest columnist and has had work published in 94Creations. She’s had the honor of being a test reader for several novels, has an eye for grammar and a love of the unexpected.

Libby and Adriena became fast friends in 2007 during the 94 Creations Writers Group. Libby was a perfect blend of feisty and kind then, and she is even more so now. She is genuine, hilarious, quick-witted, and has a keen editorial eye.

Nuray

Nuray Yasayanlar and Adriena got off to a rocky start when they first met at Seneca High School in Louisville, KY in 2009, where Adriena was the new English teacher on the hall and Nuray, who was in a particularly bad mood on Adriena's first day, was assigned to acclimate her to the department. After Adriena recovered from the trauma of Nuray's mean-mug greeting, the two eventually found their way to mutual ground, understanding, and the heaps of love and respect that have powered their friendship over the years.
